Vintage teapot/Sadler England

I was given this from my dear mother-in-law and was about to sell it in yard sale when my hubby and i decided to check the bottom for make and marks..sure enough it says   SADLER ENGLAND and gold #'s  274L ?  or 274C ?   Can anyone help with an appraisal or even just what it could be worth? Thanks!

I believe the mark on the bottom is  2746.  I have the same teapot.  I'm looking for a lid for it.
