It's absolutely impossible to post any information about your sewing machine without further description or pictures. Who is the manufacturer, etc?

I have an antique treadle Singer sewing machine. Is yours a Singer? If so, there is a metal/tin trim on it with a code number. This code will help you find out when the machine was made, in what city it was made, and the approximate value. You need to post the make, model number, and a photo.
