I have a milwaukee chair date stamped oct.20 1914 it's oak w/no arms, it has a brass name plate insert on back. how would i go about determining the value?

Without an image nobody can really help you. Most furniture companies produced a wide range of furniture styles, some a lot more valuable and in demand than others, so it really is important to provide images. Lovejoy
