Rway Dining room table w/ 4 chairs, Hutch and Serving Buffet with wheels

By tobermusic, 29 January, 2008
Description

I'm not a dealer or a curbside hunter. I used and enjoyed the look and sturdiness of the furniture and I suspect they shouldn't just be given away. I researched Rway and found they were not manufacturing furniture anymore. here are some pics(sorry about the mess, taken while moving) the table i took apart by removing a couple of screws holding the extension arms together and that's why there's only half pictured.

Re: Rway Dining room table w/ 4 chairs, Hutch and Serving Buffet

This is what we used to call " French provincial". The style was based on mid 18th Century Louis XV furniture and has been revived about every 30 years since about 1780 ;~)Most pieces such as yours date from the late 1950's to mid 60's. Value varies considerably for these suites, sometimes at auction you can't give them away, other times they sell for over $2000.00. Lovejoy
