1934 Magic Chef Stove

By CKM1943, 28 July, 2010
Description

This is a working 1934 Magic Chef gas stove. I acquired it from an antiques dealer in the late '80's. He told me that it came out of an elderly lady's home in Tulsa, OK. He was under the impression that she had purchased the stove new in 1934. If so, I am only the second person to have owned it. This stove looks very nice; it has a couple of minor chips in the enamel. The interior has several spots of rust. Nothing on the stove has been modified; it is in its original state. As stated earlier, it does work-- I used it from time to time when my electricity went out and I could not use my electric oven. I am selling it now to make room in my home.

Yes, this stove is for sale.  I'm sorry I didn't see your comment earlier.  I thought I would receive an email if it got any comments, but I didn't, and I just happened to log in today and see this post.  So, my apologies if it's been a long time!  We are located in Southeast Kansas.

Re: 1934 Magic Chef Stove

Wow, that is a beautiful stove! How wonderful that it's been so well taken care of. They shure don't make em' like they used to., -and what a shame it is indeed.
