The Jamestown Lounge Company was formed in 1888 by Arthur Greenlund, Hurlburt Phillips, Theodore Hanchett and Lynn Cornell.  It produced high quality furniture and is best known for its Feudal Oak lounges and sofas. The company operated until 1981.This one looks like it dates from the 1950's, comparable pieces at action sell for about $350.00.
