These 3 plates have been in my family for at least 3 generations. My Uncle received them from his Uncle, but we are unsure of the history before that. No other information regarding the history is known.
There are 2 round, identical plates (believed to be copper), one is a bit brighter in appearance than the other. Both seem to be in Good-Excellent condition with no dents or scratches. They both measure 22.25" in diameter, and weigh approximately 2 lbs 14 oz. There is what appears to be a dragon head at the top, with a border of what appears to be different fruits. The picture in the middle of the platters appears to be village people dancing in the street. There are no identifying marks, other than on the hanger on the back which reads "Made in England".

The third plate is a lighter color than the other two, but is also assumed to be copper. It measures 26.75" in width, and 20.25" in height. It weighs approximately 2 lbs 8 oz. It is also in Good-Excellent condition with no dents or scratches. The only identifying marks on this piece are on the back hanger where it states: "Made in Belgium". This piece has a decorative border with dragons, and the main picture in the center is of several men sitting around a table, appearing to be playing cards and smoking pipes. At the top center of the border it reads" 1460".

Re: 3 Copper Plate Wall Hangings
These embossed copper and brass wall plates tend to date after World War One. Country of origin marks such as " Made in England" tended to be used from the 1920's onward. These were mass produced Decorator items which still survive in large numbers, so values for them are modest. At auction I see these often selling for under $45.00 each
