Description

I contacted the expert in Germany to find out about the pottery mark because I was having a difficult time with researching it. Her name is Andrea Hanold and she was more than helpful in identifying the years it was manufactured and has authored a book on Schonwald porcelain. She said it was the form rom and that the decorcation  looked to be made for the export?

There is not currently much demand for 20th century pottery, as the market is flooded with it. This is a result of the World War Two generation's passing and their estates settlements. putting far more into circulation than their is willing buyers. What you paid is about what you paid for is about what such pieces go for at auction.
