Re: kobold grandfather clock cherry wood no blemish

Hello Tonyjoe,

Information on Kobold Grandfather clocks is hard to come by. I have been requested to help in the restoration of a Kobold Movement that was rercently purchased off eBay. I have only the movement, dial, and crutch. I do not have the weights, pendulum, or clock case.

My request is for information/pictures to aid in its restoration. The owner is accomplished in woodworking and plans to build the case. Pictures of the missing items would help (Case, pendulum, and weights). Also, The weight of both the time and strike side would help immensely. Do you know if your weights, case, and pendulum are original to the clock? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for anything you are willing to share.

Kind Regards,

Glenn
