meridan b co rockwell cup. single company stamp with the no 10. stamped below. was wondering what its worth and anyway to know if this is plated or solid silver.
American silver of this era is stamped either "sterling" or with the numerical for sterling silver, "925" for 92.5 percent silver. Anything without such marks is nearly always silver plated. This piece looks pretty rough and would be generally sold as part of an inexpensive "Box Lot" (under $10.00) at an auction.
