Description

This book is a hardback with red cloth covering and gold coloring on the edges of the paper. The publisher is Donobue, Benneberry & Co. out of Chicago. The paper is very old and thinly made. Every page is readable with no rips or tears. The spine is still in good condition and still attatched well.

Your edition does not date from 1852, the company that published it began operations in 1879. In 1890 they launched series of inexpensive editions of popular novels like your "Uncle Tom's Cabin, which sells for abour $10.00- $15.00.
