Re: Qing Dynasty Bowl? Can anyone help me out?
Is there anybody out there?! I think this site is a joke!
Re: Qing Dynasty Bowl? Can anyone help me out?
The markings on these chinese bowls are rarely ever accurate for dating the piece. They offed used early Reign marks on pieces made hundreds of years later. The marking on yours dates to the Tao Kuang period 1821-50 and might be the real deal , but you'd have to have the piece physically examined by an Appraiser who specializes in Chines pottery and porcelain.

I appreciate your comment. Are you an appraiser or a fellow collecter? Anyway thanks for the info.
