Furniture appraisal

Profile picture for user Alan G.
By Alan G., 26 December, 2012
Description

I don't know the type of wood it is carved from. I don't know how much was paid for it or where or when it was purchased. All I can do is take a picture of it, measure its dimensions and hope somebody can give me an honest appraisal on it. It was originally owned by my elderly mother who liked to collect antiques, but she passed away and I dont have any info on it whatsoever. Any help on this would be great. Thanks

sincerely

Alan

Re: Furniture appraisal

Your table is in the Colonial Revival style and dates from the second quarter of the 20th century, made most likely in the 1920's. These were mass produce items, none of the carving or decoartion was hand carved. We retailtables like this we have prepped for sale for less than $250.00
