Re: cabin & rowboat on river

That's an awesome looking painting. One thing that is of concern is that it was covered by a poster and that's what some people do in order to cover up a priceless painting. Look for a little sn signature and number or something that resembles a way to identify the artist. Best bet is a art gallery or Antique specialist in art. Hope it is a great piece and that's worth something, Be sure to follow up and keep your receipts for anything from the time of purchase to the point of getting appraisals and keep your eyes open.

Re: cabin & rowboat on river

Take great care and if you can possibly find a way to get the frame apart to see if the artist info is there. That's all you can do but I'm just saying if the frame is the same time as the painting be sure not to damage it.
