Got this from an estate sale. The couple that owned this item was stationed overseas for many years in Europe and Japan. And, then returned to the states around the 60's - 80's
This piece was made by the Preisner Silver company in the 1930's, they were located in Wallingford CT. Their stuff is not terribly sought after, a lot of it sells for it's scrap silver value, about $45.00 for this one.
