Landstrom Bedroom Set

Description

A Landstrom (1879) dark bedroom set; 6 pieces.  Night stand, head board, foor board, chest of drawers, dresser with mirror.  Chest of drawers has the Landstrom bronze emblem attached to left side of top drawer.

We are looking to see if anyone has an approximate value for the set or if anyone knows anything about the manufacturer.

My grandmother is 89, this bedroom set was purchased in a second hand store in Long Beach, CA when she was 18. 71 years ago, so purchased around 1942.

The set was fairly new when she bought it, sets like this were generally made during the 1920's through 30's. The 1879 date is for when the company began operations, not when this set was made. here is a link for you about the company http://www.rockfordreminisce.com/Furniture_Gallery_4.html

Sets like this often go at auction for less than $500.00.
