Rubber faced dolls like this tend to date from the late 1950's through mid 1960's , they were produced by most of the big name makers such a Ideal and Rushton*, Rushton being the company best known for producing them. Values for most of these rubber faced toys remains modest with the exception of some in unusual color combinations and in very good condition. Values for "Well Loved" examples like yours tend to have modest values and often sell in the $10.00- $35.00 range.
*The Rushton Company was founded by Mary Rushton, a native Atlantan. Her daughter, Wight Rushton, designed the toys. It was a family owned and operated business from 1917 to 1983. The At-Play toys were one of the most collectible lines produced by Rushton. The toys are made of the finest rayon & plush material, stuffed with clean top grade cotton, eyes were sewed in and did not pull out, and had hand embroidered noses, felt tongues & large satin bows. Rushton's Star Creation toy line were hand painted, rubber faced animals and dolls. They were made from the 1950's - 1960's. It was one of their most popular toy lines.
