By Lovejoy, 24 January, 2016
Accurate Description of Item
610 Pieces Christofle Silver Plated Cutlery, in the Baguette pattern
Appraiser Remarks
While silverplate by Christofle has high initial retail prices when new, used sets in the secondary market sell for a good deal less, The market currently for silverplate is quite weak, a result downsizing Baby Boomers flooding the market with tableware. Currently full sets for 12 sell in the secondary market in the $1400.00- $1800.00 range, large bulk sets tend to sell for less money per piece than when broken down into sets of 10-12 settings, which is what we suggest you do for the best return if you plan on selling. The values below are for a set for 12 (139 pieces)
Estimated Value
$1400.00- $1800.00
