Description
Three silver spoons with initials and markings on back. Four butter knives, two with 1871 Rogers Co. Hartford Conn. Stamp. And the last two look like Merden Cutlery Co. Warranted 12 DWTS (I think) hard to see. Four forks are Rogers & bro. 1871 maybe a star and the letter A, one fork marked Rogers and Son.

Re: Silverware with initials and markings on back
They are in the style of American Colonial flatware, but I can't read the markings. From what I can see of the markings they are most likely silver plate. If you could provide better images of the markings we could tell you far more about them.
Re: Silverware with initials and markings on back
I can't see the markings clearly. Some markings do look European. Check Online Encyclopedia of silver marks,Hallmarks & Makers mark. The website list silver and silverplate makers name and symbol for most countries.
