Pieces like this tend to date from the first quarter of the 20th century, Catalogs of the time called the style "Fancy French", but it's based on the French Provincial style. We'd retail a comparable for about $350.00.

Hello, thank you so much for that info. Mine has a stamp that says Tillotson toilet fastener February 14th 1899.
Does that make a difference?
