This lamp was bought by my parents in the 70s. I recently acquired it. It has all of the crystals with only one having slight damage due to my carelessness when moving it. (See picture) It is otherwise in perfect shape.

Price
$300. I've seen others not in such good shape (missing crystals, etc) on ebay sell for $695.
John Scott Lamp company opened in 1957 Fairfield California. Mr Scott enjoyed collecting and restoring Railroad lamps. In the 1970's they made reproduction lamps with Duplex oil burners that had been manufatured in England and installed in the US. This company is still in business today.
Est Value: $350 - $500 US based on market and demand. I would put this under your house content insurance for $600 - $750 US.
Please reply and leave me feedback on my valuation. Thanks kindly for sharing this super cool piece of history... which has been time inspired and US made with that unique UK connection,
Peace Always

Thank you for the information on the lamp and company! I am selling the lamp as it doesn't fit into my decor. If you know anyone who might be interested, let me know!
Your very welcome. I am not personally looking to buy a piece like this. I would recommend posting it in the classifieds on this website. Other online free marketplaces like facebook marketplace, kijiji, craigslist would be good places to post it as well. The problem with pieces like this you have just mentioned (It doesn't fit with my decor). The benefit you have now is that you have gained the information, that will add to its sale by valuation and research. Warmest Regards TJG
