This company was very well known for its production of swords and knives of all sorts, including pen knives, but not flatware. The markings on it do not indicate it is as 800 or sterling, but plated and of modest value, comparable sets often sell for under $150.00. If you still feel the set is 800 or sterling silver you'll have to get it tested, most jewelers should be able to provide you with this service or recommend someone who can.
