Looking for information about this old ice box I have. I want to replace some missing items, like handle on top, but I don"t know what they look like. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Most of these date from the turn of the 19th Century through the 1920's before the availability of electric refrigerators. Most were made of hardwoods such as oak, ash or elm, some of the later examples were light colored hardwoods with painted finishes. here is a link for you to hardware for ice boxes. https://www.vandykes.com/antique-ice-box-hardware/c/1646/
