Fok Art Wood Carvingd

I found these 2 carvings cleaning out a old barn in Annapolis Maryland. I think they're late 19th century. They're 30 inches tall weight about 3-4 pounds. They're a pair. I guessing husband and wife, some type of tribal carvings or African American.
