Accurate Description of Item
Late 19th Century Bronze, After François DuQuesnoy (1597 - 1643)
Appraiser Remarks
This piece actually does not date to 1630, it was cast circa 1880/1900 . There were a number of foundries in Paris during that period reproducing bronze sculptures based on the work of famous 17th to 19th century European Artists. Still, it is a very nice piece that would probably sell for over $800.00 in a Decorative/Fine Arts auction.
Estimated Value
$700.00- $1500.00
