Description
I have a Brickwede dining room table and 5 chairs and a matching Brickwede buffet, all manufactured about 1942. Posted are pictures showing the Brickwede labels and a tag on the captains chair. Framing of the table is oak but not sure of rest. Finishes are all very good. The table could use a bit of tightening of the dowel joints. The table is 40 inches wide by 62 inches long. There are two fold out inserts that are 13-3/4 inches each. One or both can be used to make the table up to 89-1/2 inches long.
Buffet is 21-1/4 inch deap. 62 inches wide and 37-1/2 inches height
Chairs and hutch are solid. Table needs the dowel joints tightened.

Re: Brickwede Dining table and 5 chairs with Brickwede Buffet...
Hi there,
I recently inherited a very similar set. I've been told that the oval Brickwede plaque means it was manufactured between 1890-1916 and later when there is a "Brickwede Bros" plaque.
Curious on what you have discovered!
Thanks
