9 inch tall German beer stein. Piece has cone shapped pewter lid stamped with DGBM. Inside a triangle in the lid under the DGBM stamp is DRM. The banners on the stein have the inscription "BeiTanz undScherz bleibt jung das Herz". There is another banner with the inscription "Munchen HOFBRAU-HAUS". The bottom of the stein is stamped in the ceramic WESTERN GERMANY 6 and the Thewalt hallmark (A.J. Thewalt). In gold ink stamp is the word Hoffritz. There is a very small chip on the bottom. Any help you can provide would be GREATLY appreciated.
