vintage hubley style w/ 501 stamped in backsailboat cast iron over bronze bookends

Two bookends made of cast iron black over bronze. I came up with the 1940' s as their date of being manufactured. They are 4in × 4in and have 501 stamped in back. The sails have some kind of cross on them and they remind me of hubley stuff.
