The Chinese writing cabinet was purchased in 1979 at an estate sale in Singapore for S$9,000.
47"H x 36"W x 18"D
Solid wood. Purported to be blackwood.
Made in China, but not much else is know about the manufacturer.
An electric light was added prior to our purchase.
It is used, but not abused. Still very solid.
