Antique Hand Carved Cedar Chest With Hand Hammered Brass Fittings

Description Exactly what the title says. Friends of the family bought it at an estate sale in South Carolina over 25 years ago, used the heck out of it, and were going to throw it in the nearest dumpster until I rescued it and cleaned it up and gave it the first oiling it had had in at least 25 years. Not sure exactly what I have. One person said a hand carved cedar trunk from the Orient, and my neighbor says it's from England.
