Description
I've been told this is a Tell City Chair Co. rocker "Duncan Phyfe style", distinguished by the graceful curve that flows from the front legs up the edge of the seat and then up the frame to support the hand carved rose on the back of the seat.
The only problem this does not look like a rose and the carving of this figure is more well defined than all the others I have seen.
The seat is 15", Back 30", width is 17 1/2". The seat is wool material with a needlepoint bouquet of flowers.
Can anyone tell me what I have?
