Wood carved chair with weave seat

I believe it is oak.  Wood carved back, no name found.  The weave looks like straw. I believe ther was something attached to the chair like medallions, because there are some missing face plates?  Not sure.  Want to know the year of these 2 chairs they are the same. The value also.  Thank you.  Looks like they were attached to something or to each other.
