Looking to get more information on this antique Waltham pocketwatch. I already know it's a Grade 210 7 jewels size 12s. Based on the markings on the pictures, I'd like to know what material is the cases made of? Also what do you call the gold designs on the face? Thanks

Republique Francaise 1f Blue Stamp. Not certain of the year or lot number.

This item belonged to my late friend who traveled to Nepal, India, Tibet in the early 1970's, but I do not know where it is purchased. I have been told it is hand embroidered with silk thread. This measures 28" x 29". It is very good condition, with a few small stains, very few loose threads, and unfinished edges. I would appreciate if anyone could give me any advice regarding the age of the piece, along with an estimate of value.
