I got this from a thrift shop yesterday.  I really want to know it's real value but i have no way of doing it for free.  I search the internet and a link led this site to me.  I'm a newbie so i hope you guys will  forgive me if i don't know anything about this thing.  I hope you guys can help me appriase it.  Thanks a lot.

Tall dresser, on carved or milled legs.  Some embellishments and curves.  I havent looked closely for any manufacture markings or date, sorry.  Hoping to get a feel for period and style as much as a ballpark appraisal, I have no idea about this piece I just liked it.  Bought it from a friend 25 years ago, it was a family piece handed down and we've lost touch long ago, so I cant get additional info there.   There is one broken drawer pull and one chip in the veneer, on a drawer.   Also, how do I find a matching drwaer pull, anyone?

Matching 6 piece bedroom suite, including 5-drawer highboy, 7-drawer vanity dresser with oval mirror and bench chair, one night table (with drawer and cupboard), head board and foot board for double bed:  highboy has label reading "The Middlesex Furniture Co. Ltd., Strathoy, Ontario, Article 843, Approved by JH". 

Anyone know what style or period this piece is?

Does anyone have any information about this figurine?  It doesn't look like most that I've seen.
