A black and white print of THE ANGEL OF PEACE at the bottom of the oval part of the print it is printed Published by John Dainty 31 S 6th St Philadelphia THE ANGEL OF PEACE Painted by Von Raulbach
I believe the original oval frame with nut berry leaves raised in I believe plaster. The original glass has a bubble at the left of her feet and over the town. Some plaster missing. I have found simular colored prints but nothing exactly like this and have wanted to know it's worth ever since it was given to me by my mom who had no info on it at all.
Thanks for any help you can give me it is graciously appriciated!!!
Hi I have 3 painting in rough condition dating back to 1600s to early 1800s.One is an old lady cant find any stamp but the frame is handmade because of the handmade nailsand the wooden frame is hand made its 25inc across 29 half down. The other 2 are Gentlemen of Aristocratic background The canvas of one is thick an when I peeled it back it said Prepared CR1364 Charles Roberson 51 Long Acre London.I found he made a white base of paint mixed with zinc in 1841. The third is a a younger man with italic hand writing on the back cant make it out Major Garcon?? and below says BANKS.
