2 PIECE SOLID WOOD W MARBLE TOP VAINITY W/LARGE MIRROR

Category
Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

Curious to know the approx value of this piece of furniture. Its been in my boyfriends family since before he was born, so its at least 40 years old, but we think its older than that...i could not find any markings, but it is a solid wood vanity/desk...has 7 pull out drawers on the desk portion, and the mirror that mounts to the table top towards the side of the furniture that u would butt up against a wall has a hole on the left and right that the mirror (which has 2 more drawres on it) that u set  it in so it doesnt slide once u set it on top...has one large mirror and 2 small mirrors on the top piece.

Mystery Art Deco Vase

Category
Art Deco and Art Nouveau
Condition
Excellent
Description

 Hello,

I found this at our local Goodwill and thought it was very interesting. I've had one opinion that it looks like early York / Phaltzgraff from their art pottery line in the 1930's. It has a matte blue-green turquiose glaze ( the pictures make it look much daker than it is) over a yellowish clay / under glaze and stands 10 1/2" tall. The top is 6"in dia. and the base is 5"in dia. with small handles at the bottom. It doesn't seem to have any damage at all. There is a drip on the very bottom that looks like it's worn away, but it doesn't show. It's quite heavy and very smooth to the touch. The inside shows dripping were the glaze runs to the bottom with some of the under glaze showing through. There is no factory mark on the bottom just something that looks like three 1's ( 111 ) stamped into the clay. I've searched for a few days and have come up with nothing. It seems to  also have the looks of Rookwood, Roseville, Weller, McCoy, etc.but nothing I can pin down.Hope you can help me solve this mystery ??

Thanks for any help or expertise.

                                                                                   -Mike-

Antique Italian Marble Bust

Category
Fine Art
Condition
Good
Description

Would anybody be able to value this Antique Italian marble bust please?  She was in Mint condition until a house move when the carriers damaged her nose and upper lip, as seen in photos.  Grandmother is sure there is an artist's signature but I cant find it, and the bust is too heavy for me to lift or turn around to view the back.

Thankyou.
