I don't know anything about this beaded purse - i'd like to know the country of origin, what the beads are, artist etc and value if any. Any info appreciated.
I have a piece of furniture that I cannot seem to find any specific information on.
The back side has a manufacturing label (and a number) from Kensington MFG Company out of New York. It is about 5,5 FT tall and about about 3,5 FT wide. I THINK it is walnut but I am certainly not sure.
I have tried to find information on manufacturer but what I found is slim to none.
Does anyone have any information on the Kensington Company, age of the piece and an approximate value?
Any information would be highly appreciated as it would be nice to know what it is and I can find no information.
Not sure if this is a real powder horn or a decorative item influenced by one. It's wooden, with what appears to be mother of pearl accents - the shiny parts of the photograph. The plug is also wooden, with a double sided face either an African or Native American looking face. It stands very sturdy and flat on the base, as if someone designed it that way. Thanks so much!
A large and heavy wrought iron and brass fireplace screen with 3 natives figures in bronze 1 dancing , 1 playing a flute and 1 reclining. The figures are on a background jungle scene with foliage and large mushrooms. The screen was a gift to my parent from a former vaudevile star stage name "Mamie Harnish".
The screen was a gift to her from her friend Rudolph Valentinos wife after returning from a trip to Egypt.
Mamie (real name Mary Davis) was in her 90's when she gave the screen to my parents. I have three photos of the screen and copies of sheet music covers featuring Mamie Harnish. The screen is in very good condition with some minor surface rust at the front bottom.
This was a gift over 25 years ago. It has never been used. 10" tall vase 5" top diameter 4" bottom diameter. Very heavy....4lb 9 oz. The glass designs are beautiful. Need to know if this is cut glass or crystal. There is an etched marking low on the vase. Very small. Photo enclosed. Approximate value is needed.
