Georgian

Category
Home Furnishings
Condition
Good
Description

I have these 2 Georgian chairs. They are in perfect condition, except that the horse hair stuffing needs to have new support. I am thinking of recovering them and am worried that the upholsterers will remove the original stuffing. Is that a problem?

Glass Grape Chandelier

Category
Lamps and Chandeliers
Condition
Good
Description

I own what I believe to be a Murano glass grape cluster chandelier very similar to the one posted on 1/29/12.  Mine has three pale grape clusters and many leaves.  I don't know if the wiring is good but I did grow up with it & remember looking at the light as it filtered through the clusters. It was removed from the ceiling about 17 years ago.

It is very heavy and the metal is off white and the wire vines that attach to the leaves are green, it apprears to be in pretty good shape, a little dusty and two of the clusters are not attached but the hardware seems to be all attached.
