China set lithophane geisha girl

Category
China
Condition
Fair
Description

We picked up a china set that has the geisha girl lithophane in the bottom of the teacups, and a landscape scene similar to hayasi Kutani.  The mark in the bottom is in japanese or chinese letters.  There is a lot of what appears to be gold painted on the picture.  Village with lake and a dock, I think, and trees with mountain in background.

The set has 6 small saucers, 6 larger saucers, 6 tea cups, large teapot with lid, creamer, and a sugar bowl.  The set is not perfect - we see a few chips, a small saucer has two pieces glued back onto it, etc.

Just looking for some information on the age, potential price, history, etc.  I know nothing about china so this is all interesting and new to me.  :-)

Enamel on Copper Framed Paintings

Category
Paintings
Condition
Excellent
Description

The top two frames are small, possibly 3 or 4 inches square (sorry, can't find a ruler or tape measure).  The top left has a sticker on the back that says, "Hand-Made Enamel on Copper by P.G. Collins 12 Whitton Road Hounslow Middx. TW3 2EL England".  The top right is in excellent condition but does not have the sticker on the back with the information like the top left one does.  The top left is in fair condition with no damage to the frame but some of the velvet-like backing is loose in the top right corner.  I am interested to know the appraisal for those as well as recommendations regarding whether to attempt to have the velvet-like backing fixed or to leave it alone.

The bottom two frames are approximately 7-8 inches across.  They include paintings of "Bois de Boulogne" as it is painted on them.  There are no other markings or signatures as they have a maroon velour-like backing.  Both appear to be in excellent condition with no signs of damage or wear.

I am interested to know what all the items appraise for individually and what they appraise for as the matching set (the top two = set, the bottom two = set).  I would also like to know the artist of the bottom two if available as well as the time period in which all of them derived.

Thank you in advance for your time and expertise!

Brass Oil Lamp Middle East

Category
Lamps and Chandeliers
Condition
Good
Description

This  oil lamp (suspected brass) was obtained in 2007 in the Middle East. The metal appears to be painted with a black coloring, though the metal shines through the paint. There are no recognizable manufacturing markings, although decorative scratches appear along the sides. Not solely decorative, used for its intended purpose. Residue cleaned off. Slight green tarnish where oil is filled.

Bronze/Brass Oil Lamp Asia

Category
Lamps and Chandeliers
Description

This four-spouted oil lamp (suspected bronze) was obtained in 2012 in Southeast Asia. When purchased the metal was very dark and appeared white with tarnish, which I cleaned with a metal cleaning oil. There are no recognizable manufacturing markings. Feels heavy for its size, about 5 pounds. Appears to be a cat-like head where the oil is poured. Bird appears to be purched on the handle. Appears very old due to some pitting in the metal. Though the handle appears to have been cast in a mold, the slight irregularities in the spouts may suggest  hand-tempering. Despite my efforts I have been unable to get the metal to shine.
