Nude Lady Lamp Deco Art Nouveau

Category
Art Deco and Art Nouveau
Condition
Good
Description

This item is bronzen, app. 23 in tall and 11 in wide with a marble/bronze base.   There are signs of rust on the saucer she is holding.   It has the original electric cord.

Item weighs app. 15 lbs.

I did a thorough search with ebay and Finder.  There were many items similar, but did not have the rustic appearance and elegance.

I hope you have a positive perspective on this item.

Silver Or Pewter Hawk Or Owl Signed On Bottom With #1691

Category
Other
Condition
Poor
Description

I have what seems to be a solid pewter owl or hawk. It may be another type of metal though because it isn't soft like pewter usually is. On the bottom is a signature that I can't quite make out and the #1691. The last name looks like Amads or Amarls. I don't think it dates to 1691 because the etching looks like it was made by a hand held electric engraver. Any information about this piece would really help.

Thank you,

Fred Harding

Sphinx, Pyramid, Camel with Riders Tapestry

Category
Rugs and Carpets
Condition
Good
Description

I have a tapestry that depicts the Sphinx, three pyramids, camels and riders. It is 67" long (not including fringe) and 44" high. It is woven not printed as the picture appears on the reverse side as well. There are no signatures or tags leading to where it is from or time period. I bought it out of an antique shop in AL a few years back for $100.

G Armani Figurine

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Description

I inherited a G.Armani figurine of a cat on a wicker chair playing with a ball of yarn.  My mom died in 1992 so I know it predates that.  I have see others list the same figurine on ebay with item #166-C.  However, the one I have is slightly different.  All of the others that I have seen have a blue crown with the letter N in blue below it.  The one I have has the blue crown with what looks like an S on it's side with a vertical slash through it.

Does anyone know what this symbol means?

Also, can anyone help date this piece?  Others list it as "Retired", and yet other sellers (dealers) seem to have unlimited supplies of "Brand New In Box" items for full retail.  Is it discontinued or is someone still making them?

thx

Wes

Description

Can you identify this figurine and it's value. It appears to have a match holder on the back. On the bottom under the painted "23" is an embossed number that appears to be 282. It is about 5 inches tall. There appears to be a mark resembling a stick figure. Thanks, W. D. McLennan
