I have a painting that is a watercolor painting of Sicily dated 1957. The painters name is Aydiker Castellamare I believe. I could not fine any information on this artist. It is 29" W X 14" H. I would like to know its value, if any, and origin.
I have a ornate Flask/Canteen. I have had it about 35 years. It has a chain attached to the lid. It appears to be soldered at some of the joints. It is very heavy.
A big siver platter that's monagramed on the top in the middle that says "your 25th anniversery dec. 23 1960 the vestry of st pauls" on the back it says "wilcox international silver co. 371"
This is a china cabinet made by Carolina Panel & Co. in 1949, according to the stamp at the bottom of the drawer. I purchased this cabinet over 20 years ago from a garage sale, and it has been used ever since. The cabinet is in good condition, but probably needs refinishing/cleaning by a professional restorer.
It is in good condition, we have not done anything with this, other than polished every now and then - it is in original condition.
I would very much like to find out the value of this cabinet, and possibly sell it if someone is interested. Please e-mail me with questions and/or comments, and any information about this piece to [email protected]
I would very much like to know more about this piece - so if you know about the style/wood/origin, or any information regarding the manufacturer, Carolina Panel & Co, please take the time and tell me. The garage sale I bought it from received items from estates, so I assume that this was donated by the heirs of the original owner. The seller did not know the donees name or any other information about him/her.
Dining room set with a drop-leaf table and four chairs. All in original condition, and some damage to the surface of the table. Needs refinishing by a professional. Not known if the fabric on the chairs is original or not. All solid wood, and extremely heavy. The table has the original mechanism to extend the table when needed. It appears that one screw has been replaced in the mechanism (see picture)
All chairs in very good condition, solid and stable. I suspect that this set is from early 1900's, or older as the table is 29" high, and the chairs (seat) 17" high - suggests time when people, on average, were shorter than nowadays.
I have no idea what style, time period, or what wood this is made of. I bought it from a garage sale, and the seller did not know much about this set.
The medallions on the chairs, and the decorations of the legs of the table are beautiful! I would like any information about this set! All information will be greatly appreciated! If you can tell me anything, please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected].
