My mother-in-law is prepping her parents home for sale.  They passed away nearly 30 years ago.  Since I am a big fan of gold (real and faux), she has been giving me any gold jewlery that belonged to her mother.  

I know that her mother traveled around the world at times but other than that, there is no information on the background of this necklace.

I have a set of lamps that I have kept in the attic for many years and the only thing I know about them is that there is an imprint in the base that says (Cornell .MS 1831) I am not 100% sure if I read the number correctly as it is a very small imprint in the metal..Thanks...

Cast iron Roosevelt in 32 donkey boot jack.  Says "Roosevelt" in right ear, and "In 32" in left ear.  How can I tell if this is authentic or a reproduction?  If it is authentic, what is it's value?
