Traditional upright Spinning Wheel

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Good
Description

This wheel has signs of wear. All parts appear to be original. One leg has a break that has been glued..

It all is in working order, but I would not say it should be used due to apparent  its age. I do not see any makers

mark. The bottom platform and treadle are old wood. The treadle is attached to the wood bar with metal screws. the wheel and other parts are held inplace with wood pegs.

The wheels axle has a worn leather collar it turns on.

It has the feel of being old but I am just not sure of its  true age.
