Old oil painting, girl with dog and a cat in background. I know I have seen a similar print or painting somewhere. The eyes on the dog look almost human and it appears the girl and the dog are holding hands. I cannot find any signature. Need help identifying the painting/artist.

I know little of this chair, it was my aunts and she gave it to me. I would love some information.

 This chest is golden oak; it has fluted details on front corner vertical boards; bun feet with points; one bun foot has a slice missing. Chest has been stripped and revarnished (not perfect job). Drawers are presently being restored; infrastructure was worn out (runners at sides worn down). First attached photo doesn't show the chest well, but I can't upload a better picture until I get the repaired drawers back next week. Second photo (filename: 400.jpg), downloaded from a website advertising Widdicomb pieces, shows a chest whose style is very similar to my old item. Above the stamped mark "John Widdicomb Co., Grand Rapids, Mich." on the interior of the piece appears a grease-penciled mark that says, "1874-1940." 

cherub/angel clock made of bronze or copper maybe, not sure. patent dates on back have 4 dates ranging in the 1890's

This is a stiched shield with the american flag design on it.

The back of the frame has this typed and taped to it:

"A short History Of this Work"

It was done by William Thomas Reed in the late 1800's. He was a marine engineer on a Oyster boat based in Providence, Rhode Island. William was a very patriotic man and loved to do work lik this and always of flags or eagles and flags. He always used Silk material for his work.

There is more history written about his children and it goes on to say that he died about 1918.
