sliver table caddy from civil war era

Category
Silver and Silver Overlay
Condition
Fair
Description

note in one of bottles " very old Anitque of Janet Christensen Barber given to her by her sister.  This is valuable also rare - I (Susie Klute) had it Sterling re-silvered in 1942- Shoulb Be Good Luck. Take good care of this- Harry +Susie (I love it)  Dottie-Don-Mary +Dee"  there are two other words at bottom of note that I can't read.  This note was written before 1967 (I would guess in the late 50's)

glass is hand cut, lots of details but no markings to identify.  I don't know what to call this to look for it online.  I haven't figured out what all the bottles are for:  salt, pepper, vinegar, oil, and ??  but that one looks like the top has a little slot for a spoon or fork in the lid

the top part rotates the bottles around like a lazy suzan...... moves easily without squeaks or anything (not sure if that makes any difference)

"R.S.M Coie's Gymnasium Gentlemen..." Large Wooden Sign

Category
Other
Condition
Fair
Description

This was found in an alley in Calgary, AB Canada last year. I have searched google for hours and found out next to nothing about this piece. I will share what little info I have on it with you folks

I cannot find an artists name, mass production stamp, nothing on it that indicates where it came from or who made it.

I have found one other person, also in Calgary, who has the exact same sign as me. He also found it in an alley.  He has no information on where it came from, who made it, ect.  Every google search I do for this piece only brings up the ads he has posted on kijiji, craigslist, ect. trying to sell it.

The only telling thing I have found it a picture on Flickr.  A man, who appears to be from Amsterdamn, has a photo of the same sign on his stream. The only differenence is that instead of "nind" it says "mind".  Other than that, it is exactly the same. It appears to have been uploaded in 2005, and he doesn't appear to speak english. I tried to contact him, I never got a response.  Here is the link

This sign is probably not worth anything, it looks great in my living room and thats all that matters to me, but I have to admit I am incredibly curious as to whether or not it has any history behind it.  If anyone knows anything about this big wooden sign, I'd love to hear it! Thanks for taking the time to read this.
