All pieces have normal wear , no repairs; however, there are hairline cracks in all pieces and the pot appears to be missing a handle. The dry sink appears to be missing the mirror attachment(s). Has age crazing. The top and bottom of the pitcher are scalloped and there is heavy embossing. The pitcher and pot are the only pieces marked with a lion and unicorn stamp with "Warranted" written at the top and "Princess" at the bottom.
This appears to be a German World War I smoking pipe, it has the German Soldier Helment for the lid and on the back is says Ersatz 1910/12-der 7-Comp. 9.Rhn.Inftr Rgt.n.160.Bonn and list what appears to be alot of last names. The front says Reseve Erler it has an intricut painting of 4 soldiers and a bar maid pouring beer out of a keg with the number 160 in the middle and the wording Hoth lebe der Parole, and Reservemann Heimal, it is in good condition no chips or repairs just normal aging, I have found similar smoking pipes but not one like this.
i have some china that has been in family for many years, it has writing on bottom looks like chinese, i was told it is japanese, it is very frgile and thin, just need someone to give me history on it and see what it is worth?
The leaves and vine are painted on the front, slightly raised and shimmery in certain light.
Overall this is just a beautiful piece I'm trying to learn more about. I'm wondering with the painting on the front if it was once used to store herbs n spices.
