This venerable 55+ year old Chicago brewed beer sign is for Reserve Beer by Peter Hand and is in great condition.

It is 16" wide X 21½" tall X 3½" deep and sports an ornate wooden antique gold frame.

It was produced by Standard Manufacturing - Chicago, Illinois, probably around 1952 to 1954 due to the nature of the artwork it contains.

The artwork is bright and vibrant and is in mint condition. There is no noticeable damage & no rust.

And it still LIGHTS!

 This was part of an estate sale that my mother put on and it didn't sell. It's been in it's box in the basement and is in good condition albeit a bit dirty. Nicely carved out of shell, has no visible markings, no visible cracks, c clasp makes me think it pre-1900(guessing). No idea of metal of frame, possible brass From research possible Athena, with second face carved in the helmet.

Found in Great Grand Father's Attic:

Width of Blade at top 1/8".  Sheath Wooden 17 1/2" Long 2 1/4" WIde

No Visible marking.

Wanted to see if you could tell us more about it. 

I have a tea set which is pink with a,blue white and black dragon. it consists of 6 cups,6 saucers and 6 side plates with a tea pot (complete with lid) milk jug and sugar pot.(complete with lid) all the main parts of the tea set have the word lucky on the bottom and all the cups have a hologram of the simple geisha with a flower in her hair.can you tell me more about this item and maybe wha it is worth.

This display case was used in my store to display wine glasses.  The lights are not original – I installed those.  However, there are holes on the back and top panel that appears to accommodate lighting.  The top section holds a glass shelf and the bottom section has sliding glass doors – included is a small block of wood (see picture) that appears to stop the doors from sliding all the way if slid too far.  Both doors are on separate tracks so that they both can slide all the way across the case.  Also, inside the bottom section, there is an additional glass shelf installed inside.  On the front of the case, there is a label that says ‘Quality Equipment, R. Mansfeld & Son, Incorporated, Louisville, KY; “The Best that Man Can Build”.’  Other than that, I don’t know any history behind it.  I would just like to know an approximate value of this piece.

This credenza has drawers that fit hanging file folders perfectly.  As far as I can tell, there are no markings identifying it.  The only thing I could find was a metal tag that had been taped to the inside of a drawer – whether it belongs with it or not, I don’t know.  I also took a picture of the fittings inside of the drawer and a portion of the design on the top of the credenza in case it helps identify it.  I know no history behind it.  I would just like to know an approximate value of this piece.
