The photo I believe is during the 1960 presidential campaign when current President Truman nominated Stuart Symington Missouri Senator as the vice-president running mate with John F. Kennedy presidential nominee.
The print is of the budweiser clydesdales and stagecoach. Sparky the firedog is in the print sitting on the bench of the coach with the drivers. It does appear to be a print and not a painting framed on and in wood. the only marking I found on it says the gallery route 2 murray ky.
Black and white painting, of landscape, and is in a wooden bamboo box. Rolls out, says on the side of the box, "Old Chinese Calendar." There is an inscription on the side of the box (in Chinese writing), I cannot read it. The painting itself is beautiful condition, but the paper at the end of both edges is frayed. There is one little mark in the center of the painting, probably from being so old. I'm not sure how old it is? Probably over 100 years, from the look of the painting itself.
There is a mork with H. M. Grindley & Co London in banner below globe with steamship above globe. Top banner has semi porcelain inscribed. also marked with PEONY which I assume is the name of the floral pattern on the pitcher and bowl
