All i can tell you is that it's brass, it's got uneven legs, like the elephants are "walking".  the middle peacock screws off to allow you to open the 5 compartments under the small peacocks.  I have no idea what it's actually for.  Just thought it was cool.

The barbie has a gold crown and stick studed fake diamond ring and earring. blonde hair blue eyes white shoes. Her hair is messy from 34 years in a drawer no box but no mold or anything maybe dust. I was told not to touch cause it may be worth something. my entire family is dead and its hard to remember exactly what they told me. I think thats why I get curious of items left behind. I am 34 and they died early so I want to figure out where I came from and if anything is of value and where it is from.

THIS IS VERY UNUSUAL IT LOOKS LIKE 4 STACKED BOOKS AND OPENS UP AND HAS A HINGE WITH A HOLDER FOR THE DECANTER AND 4 SHOT GLASSES WITH GOLD PLATED AROUND THE RIMS OF ALL.. MADE IN FRANCE. IT HAS A CROWN ON THE TOP OF THE STACK ALL HAVE NAMES ON EACH BOOK. TALLEST BOOK - VICTOR HUGO SA VIE SES EUVRES.  2ND BOOK-JEAN RICHEPEN  MIARKA.  3RD- MOLIERE- OMEDIES 4TH-HISTOIRE- D'ANGLETFRR. EACH BOOK HAS DIFFERENT GOLD COLORED MARKINGS ON EACH BOOK.

THIS GLASS IS A MOLDED LIQUOR GLASS. WE WERE TOLD IT WAS FROM THE DEPRESSION ERA BUT SOME GLASSWARE WAS MOLDED INSTEAD OF ETCHED IT HAS  3 FLOWERS ON IT AND 3 LARGE LEAVES. WE WERE TOLD THAT IT WAS MADE PROBABLY DURING THE DEPRESSION
