Once thought to be a lamp from Murano, it is not. The socket was made in the US by John Paulding Co. so it is thought to be possibly assembled in the US. The hand blown glass maybe shipped over from France or Belgium? I have not been able to come up with any real info on this lamp. I have included a piture of the matching ashtray also. Daffodils with one bubble in the center of each flower.
This bottle of Rum is complete with seal and has not been opened. Is in very good condition was sitting in a trunk full of liquor for a long period of time.
The shade of this floor lamp is assembled with what I believe to be wrapped tin. Not for sure but it is not lead wrapped I know. All decorative beading on shade is of the same tin type material. It is a double bulb, pull type chain socket. What I can make out on the bulb socket is the manufacture name (what it appears to say) Ben7amin. The base is a carved walnut, one solid piece.
This chair has a curved seat measuring 17" front to back and 18" side to side. You can tell there used to be a label on the under side of the seat (small corner of tag left) but no markings or print is on it. Very sturdy, seems it may be oak but the seat is made of a lighter weight wood.
